ODM National Chairman John Mbadi

ODM National Chairman John Mbadi risks arrest if he fails to present himself to the police after people believed to be his supporters attacked a rival group of youth, injuring two of them.

Mr Mbadi was given 24 hours from Tuesday midday to record a statement with the police or get arrested over the violence.

Homa Bay County Police Commander John Omusanga directed Mbadi to record a statement at Magunga police station in Suba constituency.

Mr Omusanga said police will not tolerate any politician who allows his or her supporters to engage in violence ahead of the ODM primaries on Friday.
