You know when you have a beautiful sister, allow me to use this reference. When people refer to her they have to recognize you as a brother or as the other sister. Thank you. Back to Uhuru’s tough IEBC defense ahead of NASA’s planned anti- IEBC demonstrations on Tuesday. Uhuru in this case representing Jubilee Party is out very tough and protective over IEBC and he knows very well it is illegal under the law while on the other hand, he has been condemning the Supreme Court for taking away his win. That’s all we know. Look, there is something bigger than the nullification of the results especially where either candidates is announced neither winner nor loser.
The massive thievery exposed during the NASA Presidental petition by Raila and Kalonzo through Lead Counsel James Orengo is the main headache for President Kenyatta. There for his men who helped him attain the 54% must be protected because if left for the masses, a lot will be exposed.
The SCOK exposed how incompetent his hands men behind Electoral Malpractice were. Leaving traces of evidence everywhere and behaving in a manner likely to suggest possible rigging when they denied a “Read Only,” access to NASA during the petition, unauthorized access to IEBC server by Jubilee’s aid David Chirchir and the 100 times log-in by Chair Chebukati that triggered a very tough Internal Memo between the Chair and Chiloba. The persons who helped him attain the almost 1million vote margin between him and his main political rival Hon. Raila Odinga.
In a country where diversion tactics are employed especially under the current regime, Kenyans should not fall for this stunt. The President is basically trying to take your attention from the pressing issue “IEBC must go!” by stage managing a circus.
When Raila Amollo Odinga uses the term “Must go!” Sir, he means it. However the son of Jomo is also folding up his sleeves and braving himself for a tough battle ahead of him, sending tough messages to Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga ahead of his anti- IEBC demonstration.
During a rally on the 25th of this September, Uhuru told Mr. Odinga to carry on with his planned demos but dared him to touch anybody’s property or business, then they, he said, will know that in this country exists other men.
The President also said Mr. Odinga was a nobody to call for change in the IEBC stating that Mr. Odinga has no mandate constitutionally to do that.
How this will unfold, Kenyans await to see as the battle of supremacy carries on. Will Raila arm twist Uhuru this time?
What we need to understand is, within 21days as directed by DPP, Keriako Tobiko, after assigning various bodies the mandate to investigate and report to him a full comprehensive report, a lot is bound to change that will favor either Mr. Odinga or President Kenyatta.
The stand-off continues.
