The national government will sustain school feeding in drought-stricken areas to ensure learning is not interrupted.

Education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i said the Government, with the help of the National Youth Service, would distribute relief supplies to affected areas.

He directed Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang to compile and publish a list of affected counties and schools to enable food distribution.

“We will ensure no student misses school because of lack of food,” he said.
