NASA presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga took his last campaigns to Uhuru Park in Nairobi where he told his supporters to rally behind him in the forthcoming election.
During the campaign, Raila emphasized on these six things:
1. Tuesday ‘Tsunami’
Raila told NASA supporters to prepare for a ‘Tsunami’ on Tuesday as he is ready to face off with President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
2. Prepare for change
He said Kenyans are ready for change and the youth have led a revolution and it will take effect on August 8 election.
3. Lucrative deals
The former Prime Minister said Kenya has lost lucrative deals such as the Sh350 billion construction of the Kenya-Uganda pipeline project that could have created 45,000 jobs to Kenyans after Uganda opted to use Tanzania route due to corruption.
The Opposition leader stated that Kenya cannot progress if Uhuru and Ruto retain power as they have presided over the theft of over Sh350 billion under their regime.
5. Inflated contracts
He named Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) and Pipeline projects as some of the inflated contracts during Jubilee’s reign.
6. Credible polls
Raila assured supporters that all NASA leaders will ensure credible polls and so they should turn out in large numbers and vote NASA.
