During the incident, one suspect was shot dead and a pistol found on him. Koome said the weapon had three bullets.

A hunt on the other accomplices after the Wednesday evening incident did not bear fruits.
Three other suspects were killed by police in a botched robbery at a house in Mt View Estate in Kangemi area.
They had apparently broken into a house and held a family hostage before police were called.
The officers chased and shot dead three of the attackers and recovered three laptops, an iPad, a wristwatch, jewelry, cash and other valuables from them.
Police said the gang of six had arrived in two cars. The other accomplices sped off in the cars leaving behind the three who were killed in a garden of the neighbor where they had attacked, witnesses said.
Police later visited the affected family as part of the probe into the incident.
The other suspect was shot dead in Gatoto village in Industrial area. Police said the suspect was in the company three other accomplices and were robbing locals when an alarm was raised that alerted officers on patrol. The bodies were taken to the mortuary and increased to more than ten, the number of suspects killed in the last two weeks.
Police said they had increased patrols in the city as part of efforts to tame armed and violent crime.
