Musikari Kombo writes off NASA team

Former Local Government minister Musikari Kombo has said the National Super Alliance (NASA) is dead after losing in last week’s presidential election.

The former minister said even if the alliance’s top leaders remained united, it would pose no threat to Jubilee Party for the presidential seat in 2022.

Not yet Uhuru as NASA heads to court

“NASA has collapsed naturally and I do not think Raila will be interested in making it a party the way Jubilee is currently constituted. Raila’s last bullet is spent and he will not re-brand himself to go for the top seat again,” said Mr Kombo in a telephone interview with The Standard.

He said Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani National Congress and Ford Kenya led by Moses Wetang’ula did not represent the face of Kenya.
