Missing Nairobi businessman found dead in car

Police are investigating the death of an Asian businessman whose body was found in a car three days after he went missing.

The businessman, Mr Mohamed Waheed Shaudry aged 44 was found in his car at the parking lot in his residence near Al-Amin Mosque in in Eastleigh, Nairobi.

The car had its windows rolled up and the doors “securely closed.”

A charcoal burner, commonly known as jiko, was found in the car.

“It is suspected the deceased suffocated,” a police report stated.

A relative told police that Mr Shaudry was last seen on January 30.

“At around 6pm on February 1, when they (relatives) checked a black Volkswagen at the residence parking they found him dead at the back seat,” a police report stated.
