Two independent aspirants have accused Jubilee Party of letting its members down by failing to hold credible primaries.

Kobia Maranya, who is vying for the senator’s seat as an independent candidate, said Jubilee’s nominations were not entirely transparent.

And South Imenti MP Kathuri Murungi, who is defending his seat as an independent candidate, said the party’s botched primaries had vindicated his decision to quit.
