The irate members who didn’t appreciate the token(handouts) they received from Jubilee Party broke into song and dance singing pro-Odinga slogans and showing their displeasure of not receiving the Kshs.50,000 they were promised by the organizers led by Chris Obure, Jimmy Angwenyi, Charles Nyachae and Dr. Fred Matiangi.
They vowed to vote for Odinga in the coming fresh presidential election which was instructed by the supreme court.
Some of the delegation were heard complaining of a paltry 100 shillings which they were given while initially they were promised loads of cash from President Uhuru’s campaign managers from Kisii.
Many Kenyans were shocked to see many High and Secondary School buses lined up near statehouse Nakuru, thinking that they ferried students to the venue later on they realized that they carried politicians from Kisii and Nyamira counties for a political function.
Others complained of not getting any meals at the venue which initially captured a stampede and acrimonious situation.
“How can we go back to Kisii without eating food, we came here very early in the morning and leaving late without eating anything and we know this is the place where money is kept?” A lady in the delegation exclaimed.
