Gor Mahia star extends stay

SportPesa Premier League champions-elect Gor Mahia on Tuesday received a major boost after star striker Jacques Tuyisenge extended his stay at the club.

Tuyisenge, who’s contract is set to lapse at the end of the current campaign, but the club moved in swiftly to extend his stay by a further two years.

“The good news today is – one of our top strikers Jacques Tuyisenge has extended his stay at the club. Tuyisenge signed a two year deal (today at 1pm),” read a statement on the club’s official Facebook page.

Tuyisenge, who tops this season’s top scorers list with 12 goal jointly with Nakumatt striker Kepha Aswani, joined Gor Mahia in 2016 from Rwandan giants APR on a two-year deal.
