Paul Otuoma edged out by Governor Ojaamong in Busia primaries


Busia, Kenya: Governor Sospeter Ojaamong has emerged the winner with 92,358 votes in the just concluded ODM primaries in Busia, his challenger Dr Paul Otuoma got 63,752 votes.

Earlier chaos erupted at the tallying centre after AP officers stormed the centre.

The two candidates had held massive campaigns that had seen them traverse different areas in the county seeking political support ahead of nominations. Though the nominations included other seats, all eyes were on the governorship.
