Nairobi gubernatorial candidates to engage in debate on their agenda

, NAIROBI, Kenya, June 29 – Six candidates in the Nairobi Gubernatorial race will on Thursday engage in a debate to outline their business and economic agenda for the county ahead of the August polls.

They include Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, Senator Mike Sonko and independent candidates Miguna Miguna and Peter Kenneth.

Godfrey Wanyoike who is also an independent candidate and Michael Mutinda of the Agano party will also engage in the debate.

The candidates will be put to task on their vision for Nairobi and probed on the details of their manifestos.

The debate will focus on among issues; Infrastructure, Legal and Regulatory issues, Housing, Trade Development, Security, Environment and Physical Planning.

It has been organized by the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) in partnership with Kenya Alliance of Residents Association (KARA).
