MP Benson Mutura flees after disturbance at Buruburu polling centre

Police are looking for Makadara MP Benson Mutura after he led his supporters to Dr Livingstone polling centre in Buruburu and disrupted voting.

There were gunshots before the MP and his supporters escaped. Police arrested Mutura’s brother and efforts to trace the MP are on.

Police boss Japheth Koome said they want to question the MP before deciding the way forward.
