The suspects, who were apprehended during a joint security operation on Thursday night, include four foreigners and eight Kenyans.

Among those arrested is a most wanted suspected baron drug known as Stephen Bosire, whom Coast Regional Coordinator Nelson Marwa mentioned last week in Kwale County.

Mr Marwa said the suspect has been operating in Diani.

Last week, Mr Marwa said Bosire supplies large amounts of narcotics in the whole region.

He gave notice to police officers to immediately arrest him.

He also said the suspect is a major drug baron with international links.

Mr Marwa said five of the suspects were arrested at an apartment in Bamburi.
