Police are looking for a man alleged to have killed his friend at Eor-Ekule in Narok East in a business dispute.

According to witnesses, the suspect is said to have turned against his friend, John Kiarie, after they disagreed over a deal.

County Police Commandant Smollets Munyianzi said the two men were business partners. “We received reports that the suspect went to the victim’s home on Monday evening where he turned wild and cut his neck using a panga,” Mr Munyianzi said.

The victim suffered deep cuts on the head and was rushed to Narok County Hospital where he succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment.

Murder incidents have been on the rise in the area. Just a week ago, police arrested a 35-year-old man suspected to have stabbed his neighbour to death at Simboiyon in Narok South in a land boundary dispute

On Thursday, police recovered a body of a 35-year-old man from a dam in Nairegia Enkare in Narok North.
