Aspirants for various elective positions in Kirinyaga County have criticised interim Jubilee officials for allegedly being unavailable to give guidance.

The aspirants claimed since the 19-member committee was put in office on December 14, last year, it had not been in operation.

Senatorial aspirants Charles Kibiru and Joseph Mwaniki said the committee chaired by Mithamo wa Susana had no office in the county.

“We have reached a crucial moment due to the approaching party primaries and the Susana-led committee should have its presence felt in the area,” Kibiru said. Susana admitted his team did not have an office and attributed the situation to financial hitches.
