Woman Representative Gladys Wanga has denied claims that she has the power to influenced the issuance of certificates during the ODM party primaries.

The county party chairperson wants aspirants to ignore a rumour doing the rounds that she is likely to determine who gets the party’s nomination certificate.

“Everybody contesting any seat on the ODM ticket in this county should know that the party constitution is very clear that nomination certificates are issued by the National Elections Board on merit,” said Wanga, adding that as an aspirant defending her seat, she has no mandate to influence party nominations.
