DPP Tobiko orders probe into murder of KRA lawyer

Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Keriako Tobiko has ordered investigations into the murder of a Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) lawyer.

Tobiko nominated two prosecutors, Catherine Mwaniki and Riechi Meroka, to assist the police in the probe into the killing of Mokua Ratemo whose body was found on Wednesday dumped at the junction of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Mombasa Road.

He worked as a supervisor at KRA’s Customs and Border Control Department in Mombasa. Deputy DPP Nicholas Mutuku has written to Directorate of Criminal Investigations boss Ndegwa Muhoro to start investigations into the murder.
