ANC Leader Mudavadi hints at another mega corruption scam

KDRTV-ANC Party leader Hon. Musalia Mudavadi has hinted at a possible mega scandal in the making at the MOH.

While addressing the press in the company of Lamu Governor, Mr. Issa Timany, Mudavadi gave Kenyans a warning to brave for a scandal worth billions of shillings in the procurement of medical equipment which he claims has hidden contractual terms and lacked transparent tender procedures.

He says the Country risks losing billions of shillings yearly for a period of 7 years. Each year the County governments are paying close to Kshs.5 Billion.

Some of the suppliers he claimed are adversely mentioned in the MOH scandal where it’s alleged almost Kshs.5.3B, is feared to have been stolen based on the Internal Audit report from the Ministry of Health.

Lamu Governor, Mr. Issa Timmany said they are yet to receive part of the equipment and the one’s that were supplied lack infrastructure and also no qualified personnel are available to run them.
